Disney World Vacation Package

What is something special to do at Disney World Magic Kingdom for an adult's birthday?

My mother is turning fifty and we are going to the magic kingdom in Orlando florida. Are there any suggestions for what I can do to make her birthday extra special? A restaurant suggestion? Interactive shows? Anything that you can think of that would make her birthday extra special will be wonderfully appreciated! Thanks so much!

  1. Try to get reservations at Cinderella's Royal Table restaurant in the Castle. The food is spectacular and the service is wonderful. Be sure to tell the staff about the birthday celebration, and they will make it fun. As far as shows - there are side shows going on in the streets all the time, but they are somewhat impromptu. Sometimes they will take people from the crowd to participate, but it will have nothing to do with one's birthday. You will have a blast no matter what. Good luck!
  2. Pick her up a free birthday button at Guest Relations. It will get her noticed throughout the day and sometimes get something special. Be sure to tell your server at restaurants, if they don't notice the button. You can also purchase a birthday cake with no prior notice at any (Disney-owned) sit-down restaurant. There are a couple of dinner shows, which she may or may not get some recognition at, Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue and Spirit of Aloha (Polynesian Luau) Dinner Show.
  3. stay in cinderellas castle over night or eat at cinderellas castle they actually have a pretty fancy resturant, get pictures of u guys on a couple of rides and maybe go shopping at some of the disney stores for a souvenir hey thats all i got for a 14 year old
  4. whenever you make dining or hotel reservations make sure to tell them that there is a birthday. pick up a birthday pin at town hall. register the birthday online to be able to get a free ticket. when making dining reservations, ask about getting a birthday cake delivered to the table. take your mother to kona cafe at the Polynesian for dinner. i hope you have a great time and tell your mom happy birthday!
  5. First thing you need to do is go to: http://disneyparks.disney.go.com/disneyparks/en_US/WhatWillYouCelebrate/index?name=WDWCelebrationsOverviewPage here you can sign up and get free admission to the park or a family fast pass or a gift card. Their are carriage rides you can take, book a fireworks cruise, treat her for a spa treatment. A new interactive parade is coming to Magic Kingdom she just may get picked if she is wearing her Birthday button. Whispering canyon cafe is fun and different, she may get some attention there. 6. Pretty much everything, because adults will be kids when they are in Disney. But at Magic Kingdom, I would highly reccomend Cinderella's Royal Table. but if that is too expensive (which it is), Try eating at the Libery Tree Tavern, or Crystal Palace. To make it seem more like a birthday, Don't try to go on all of the attractions, go on the ones that will be memorable with Disney Magic. I don't know much, but go to DisneyParks.com, and goto Disney World, they might tell you special stuff.
  7. Dinner at Cindys Royal Table would be really nice, but it isnt exactly full of choices as the menu is set. I would take her to dinner and to see La Nouba at DTD!
