Disney World Vacation Package

Can you carry a small cooler inside Magic Kingdom? The cooler will contain water and juice?

The cooler holds 24 bottles and has a shoulder strap. Is this allowed in Magic Kingdom?

  1. First of all, why would you want to? I know it would save money but it would be heavy and a nuisance all day. The drinks there aren't really that expensive and they do have water fountains. Second, I doubt it. I work at a pool concession stand and we don't let in outside drinks because then they won't buy from us. If they don't buy from us, we don't make and money and don't have jobs. Disney probably thinks the same way. Also, I was there 3 years ago and don't recall seeing any coolers. You could probably check their website where you booked the tickets to be positive, though. They pride themselves on being exceptionally helpful.
  2. no becouse i tryed it and they told us to go put it back in car
  3. I don't think so because they want to sell you more. They actually took out all of the drinking fountains so you HAVE to buy stuff there.
  4. If it is a hard-side cooler you will not be allowed to take it in regardless of how big or small it is. I have brought in a small soft-sided cooler in the past, and did not have a problem. But it was a small cooler that could have held maby 4 bottles. A cooler that can hold 24 bottles is NOT a small cooler. Even if they do allow it in, this is not something you want to bring in. It would probably be worth paying for drinks rather than having to lug it around all day. If you wanted to store it the cost of the locker(s) would erase a lot of the savings you would have. A better choice would be to take a plastic water bottle(they don't allow glass). You can continue to fill this up all day as needed. Another option would be to purchase something like a "Camelback" backpack. These are the ones that you can store water in a compartment, instead of having to carry a bottle around.
  5. I know from personal experience that if it is a soft sided cooler with items such as bottles it will be allowed in. Also I have had my bag checked and been told that anything that is not a bottle isn't allowed inside. So as long as the cooler is soft sided and only holds bottles, you should be fine. edit*- just thought of this. If the cooler is big enough to hold 24 bottles it probably wouldn't be allowed in. You could try it, but I wouldn't suggest it. Also lugging this around WILL be a pain.....believe me I've been through this at other parks. However if you still think this is worth it give it a shot, but I would suggest a smaller bag.
