disney world vacation packages?
Planning a disney vacation. www.disney.com only gives hotel rates. I'm looking for airplane, hotel, rental car and disney world tickets all included packages. Where can I find more info?

- I got my flight, resort and park tickets on the disney web site. and got the best deal on the airfare. If you are staying at a disney resort, you will not need a car. they will pick you up at the airport.
- http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/vacation-packages/compare/ I think that's the one my sister used when we went to Disneyworld last month. You really don't need a car since there are buses that will take you to every resort in Orlando. It even includes a bus to take you to your hotel from the airport. Also brings you back to the airport when your vacation is over.
- You can do all of it through their webpage. Usually air runs about the same but sometimes it can be cheaper to just do hotel and tickets through disney and air through the carrier or a site like orbitz but sometimes it works better to do all of them through disney. Price them both out to see what works better in the lines of cost. Unless you are planning on traveling away from disney a rental car is pointless and can save you a large amount of money if you skip it. Disney has a shuttle that will pick you up from the airport and take you back when you are ready to leave. There is also transportation between their hotels and all of the parks as well as downtown disney. We have never rented a car in any of our visits down there and never had a problem. I would also look into adding the meal plan they offer, it can really save money. It costs about $40 a day per person, which might seem like a ton but the cost of meals at the parks are far more. For example my husband and I spent $80 total a day for the meal plan but were eating $100 to $125 a day, sometimes more. Unless you really love to eat the one snack, one quick serve and one sit down is perfect. Have a wonderful time.
- Go to http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/ to get a quote (and book) your room, tickets and airfare. Sometimes you can find better airline deals by searching direct airlines or travel sites. You can not book car rental through the Disney website. There is the Disney Car Care Center that offers Alamo and National rentals, though. They will send a free shuttle to your Disney Resort and bring you back to the DCCC for your car and then do the reverse when you are done with your car. If you are flying into MCO and staying at a Disney resort you can use Disney's Magical Express Service which is free roundtrip transportation to/from the airport. You will then have free, unlimited access to all of Disney's transportation. The only instances that you will need a rental car is if you want to go off Disney property.

- http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/vacation-packages/ This site should help you with everything. If not, i'd suggest possibly hiring a travel agent?
- Hi...a few additional thoughts to your question.... To start with, take some time and gaze through Mousesavers and Allears web pages. They can give you a good guide as to what specials may be running when you're planning your trip. You'd hate to plan it out and find out that you missed out a free dining or room rate deals. So those would be good starting points. here are their links: http://www.mousesavers.com/ http://allears.net/index.html Then as other have suggested, go to: http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/vacation-packages/ to make your reservations. And yes, plane reservations can be made from their reservation page. If you'd rather use a travel agent to coordinate, take a look at; http://www.smallworldvacations.com/ They are an authorized Disney agent. I have used them and the service is excellent. They will also watch the Disney deals and if prices drop, or a new promotion becomes available, they will notify you. AAA is also an authorized Disney agent if you'd care to deal with someone more local. Hope that gives you a few more ideas...and have fun planning!!
- Start on this page: http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/ Select "vacation package" and type in your dates. The next page that comes up will allow you to play with your reservation to add tickets, meals, dining, etc. Have fun!
