What's the best way to book Holiday Disney World vacation?
I'm going with 2 adults and we're going on Dec 22-26. We wanna be there for the parade thing on the 25th. So what would be the best/cheapest way to book the trip? We wanna stay in the disney hotels. Option 1: Book everything through the disney website Option 2: Book hotel and flight from travelocity/hotels.com or any of those sites through their vacation packages then buy the park tickets at disney.com Option 3: Book hotel and flight separately and buy park tickets at disney.com Also, is it better to buy the park tickets on the disney website or are there other websites where i can get a better deal? thanks! One more thing, are there any websites that have good deals for vacation packages for Disney world?

- We usually book ours through AAA (triple A). You might just want to call and find out if there's even rooms available for that time. That's the most crowded time of year and they book fast. I was looking for the first week of December and there were all booked up and that time is supposed to be less crowded. Good luck.

- 1. you realize that the abc disney world christmas day parade is actually taped prior to xmas day. it is taped between november 25 thru december 5th so you won't be able to see any celebs and concerts or anything. and you can see the same parade that is shown on tv from november 10th thru january 6th. it happens every day between those dates. so on the 25th you will be able to see the parade but it won't be the one with regis and kelly and all the actors and singers and camera crews. 2. book everything with disney. it is cheaper to book the entire package instead of bits and pieces through various places. either book it all buy going to a travel agent like AAA or by yourself online or by calling. 3. the price of the tickets are the same whether bought online or at the parks. but you will be buying tickets prior to leaving home if you book a whole package 4. disney world doesn't offer discounts very often and there are none that i know of for those dates as i would know cuz i'm going right around that same time. if you book it through AAA they usually give a small discount just for booking it with them. have fun. ps if you haven't booked yet good luck on finding a room cuz we booked ours in july and we weren't gonna get a room at the hotel we wanted but someone had just cancelled for the same dates we wanted to go. its now october and you want to go in december i'd hurry up and book the trip if i were you.
- Just to reinforce, Indiana has it all correct.. The parade is not on the 25th, so you won't be seeing that. They tape it on other dates, sometimes in pieces. http://www.dreamsunlimitedtravel.com/ has a very good rep as a Disney travel agent, have not used them myself, I use my regular one. They can help you with any bonus packages that may apply (there will be none over xmas I can almost guarantee) And BTW there are almost NO discounts on park tickets. Anyone who tells you otherwise is either selling you counterfeits or timeshare presentations...
- I booked my airfare with disney and got the cheapest price. I had looked at all the travel web sites, so I knew the going rate. Call the Disney reservation line for help. Also book your dining. If anything is still available.
