Disney World Vacation Package

Need help planning Disney World Trip for family of 4 vacation package?

So me & my family want to go to Disney World in June. Arrival Date: June 16th Departure Date: June 23rd or 24th whichever We remember seeing a Disney commercial talking about a vacation plan for a family of 4 for $1200 or $1300 for a stay of 6nights and 7 days?? Is it possible to get a 6 night-7day vacation plan for Under $1500? It doesn't need to be a deluxe hotel or anything. We willl have 2 adults, and 2 children. Child 1: 6 years old Child 2: 15 years old We would like to be at a disney resort so we can get free transportation in the parks & free parking for our car. (& we want fast passes) We'll be driving 6hrs down from where we live in south carolina. As for eating, we're fine with just eating cheap, any vacation packages that include eating breakfast lunch & dinner? And if not any nearby places we can go to to eat? What is the best way to eat cheap? Does the package tickets & going to all Disney Parks & places? Any attractions or good deals around this time in June? If someone could find us a good package for around that price it would be awesome if not, can you give us a rough estimate of the cheapest way to get a vacation package? -Please help & Thanks! does the package INCLUDE* ticketsand going to all disney parks & places?* does the package INCLUDE* tickets and going to all disney parks & places?* I also forgot to include we want park hopper tickets so we can go & come when we want! Also we want park hopper tickets so we can go & come whenever we want into the parks!

  1. I'm sure the experts will be coming around soon enough to answer all your questions but I'll give I generic response to a couple of things based on what I know.... I don't believe a family of four can get a vacation package at DisneyWorld at any point during the year for around $1500. The Tickets alone will run near $1000. You just might be able to get slightly under $2000 staying at a value resort, BUT that will only be for your hotel, park tickets and the shuttle that will get you from from the hotel to the park. That doesn't include food, souveniers, and everything else you will need. Adding a dining plan would be extra. The FASTPASS system is free to everyone who has a park ticket. If you want to stay at a Disney Resort, you're best bet is to go to the official Disney website, and book there. They will give you the best price if you are looking to stay on thier property.
  2. go to www.disneyworld.com and www.allearsnet.com they are the best websites to help you. Once you go onto the WDW website, you can enter your travel dates and go from there as far as where to stay and if you want a package deal, which you are able to customize to fit your needs. You can also find out which deals are available. You can check out eating places throughout the parks at the allearsnet website. Pull up the dining info, you'll be able to even find the menus so that might make it easier to decide where to eat. We've been to WDW several times and have done it every way imaginable, booking through AAA, Expedia, WDW, staying onsite and off and having the dining plan and just "winging it". We found that for us, staying onsite, getting the tickets with park hopper and the dining plan worked out best and least expensive for us. Good luck and have fun.
  3. Expect it to be around $2500 for 2 adults and 2 children standard value resort room, with the quick service dining and just 7 day base tickets no hopping from park to park. This is WITH a discount they have going on now too. Disney is pricey but worth it also sign up at disney destinations email I just got a offer for my family to get the quick service dining for free thats like a $700 savings good luck though.
  4. actually the comercial stays that a family of four can go for as little as $1600 (not $1200/$1300). and thats if you just get the basics of a value resort and 4 day base tickets. its gonna cost you a lot more if you want -a value resort -lets say 6 day park hopper tickets (that way you have a couple of relax days) -the quick service dining plan which gets you 2 quick service meals per person per night, 2 snacks per person per night, and 1 refillable resort mug per person. (you can make that into 3 meals a day if you eat light for breakfast and use a snack credit to get something like a danish, a piece of fruit, or donuts....and then use the quick service meals for lunch and dinner and then have a snack at some point) for all of that it will cost you about $2,879.22. and thats not including admission to places like the water parks, disneyquest, disney's wide world of sports complexk, or the golf course. if you want to do those things you'd either need to pay separately at the gate or add them to a package. if you' like to go to more than one of the things i mentioned above you are better off adding the water parks fun and more option onto your package cuz in the long run it will cost less that way. oh and by the way FASTPASS IS FREE.
  5. I'd like to answer your question about "eating cheap" - the Disney Dining Plan worked well for my husband and I when we went for our anniversary back in 2008, and I've heard it's gotten better. It's worth looking into. As a child and teenage, my parents took us to Disney World every summer for 5-6 days and we always ate cheap, but this was way before they offered the dining plan options. We would just take the small individual ceral boxes and eat in the room before we left. We'd also come back to our hotel room around 1-2 pm which is usually around the time those quick yet torrential rains in Orlando occur in the afternoon. We'd eat lunch in the room and then swim or relax for a little bit before heading back to the park. My husband and I did this the first time we went together in 2003 and only spent money on dinners in the park. Just a thought -- hope you are able to go and enjoy!
  6. I did a mock vacation planning on www.waltdisneyworld.com and I got a price of 2541.40 (2 adults and 2 children) and this is at Pop Century Resort June 16th-24th. I did this without the dining option because, and I know you said you wanted it included, however, personally, I don't feel it's worth it, but it would be an extra 47.00 per adult for the dining package so you could add that in at your discretion. You could save money by stopping at a grocery store (Publix) it is on the way to Disney World from Orlando Airport. Stock up on snacks, as you're able to bring a cooler and or snacks into the park. And with a 6 year old, I think it would be your best bet to bring snacks anyhow. And since you're driving down, you could stop at the grocery store no problem and save money. I would also suggest, if you're a member of Triple A, you could get a bit of a discount from them. I have a trip to WDW and after checking Disney's website and Triple A, we saved about 150.00 going with Triple A. It's not much, but it's 150.00 in today's economy. lol Good luck!
  7. Hello, i was also looking for an answer to the same problem the past few days, cause i plan to take my family there early in July(I am going to travel all the way from Greece), and looking around I ended up in this site http://www.cheap-disney-vacations.org where someone took his family to disney by spending quite less than expected. Don't know if it's true or anything yet, but you might want to take a look for yourself it might prove to be helpful. I know I didn't reply to your questions directly but I hope I contributed a bit to your planning vacations. Hope we both have fun there!!! Cheers!
