is insurance necessary on the disney world vacation package?

1. hahahaha, pretty sure in florida that's a no.
2. No, it is optional, but as long as you're absolutely sure you're going, it's not necessary at all.
3. in my opinion no its not worth it at all. i always decline the insurance. its $60 per adult (18+). if every adult going purchases it then children 17 and under automatically get the insurance for free but otherwise they'll have to pay as well. the reason i feel its not worth it is cuz until 7 days prior to the trip you can cancel and get ALL of your money back. and if you cancel it after that point the only thing you don't get back is your $200 down payment. if you get the insurance and then don't use it you'll be wasting money. even if you do use it you would be wasting money if you cancel it by the 7 days prior to trip rule.
