Do all Disney World resorts have heated pools?
We're thinking of going in early December. Do people still swim in the resort pools during that time? I heard that some of the pools are heated year round, but I don't know which ones. Could someone please clarify? What about the kid splash areas that some of the resorts feature? Thanks for clearing that up Indiana Jones! I'm trying to decide which resort I want to go with for my December 2012 trip and wanted to factor that into the decision.

- all disney world resort pools/splash pads and water parks are heated to 82*F year round. (and the water gets much warmer than that in the middle of summer cuz of the heat and sun). yes people still swim at disney world in decmeber. (most locals wouldn't think of swimming that time of year but anyone especially from northern states myself included think its just fine)
- The previous answer is 100% correct. Interesting in many parts of Central to Northern Florida, there are quite a few natural springs. The water is always a constant 72F. In the Orlando area, one of the best and largest is at the Wekiva Springs State park, located off Interstate 4. At exit 94 there are directions.. Should be about 45 minute drive from Disney. Others are Blue Springs, In winter the manatees come to visit. Located in Orlange City (another 20 minute). In summer (right now) the water feels soooo cold. In December just the opposite.
- Yes, all Disney World resorts have heated pools. The pools are heated up to 85*F all year. The Best Western Lakeside on the 192 in Kissimmee has 3 heated swimming pools.
