- Carribean Beach is a lot of fun for the family, the other is good for spa days and things like that. I am pretty sure the Carribean beach resort has a pirate ship slide too which is always fun:) A lot of people get the dining plan, and if you take full advantage of it you will end up not spending as much money as you would have. In magic kingdom I suggest Cinderella's castle, or Tony's(an Italian restaurant). For epcot I would go to Canada's place Le Celie, or Mexico's restaurant, or the Cona Cafe. For animal kingdom, I would go early and get on all the rides then go somewhere else to eat. The Sci-fi place is good for Hollywood Studios. I'm not sure how much extra it will cost but you can always call the hotel and ask. Have fun!
- You can always request connecting rooms, but they can't always be guaranteed. I have stayed at the Carribean Beach, and they have good sized rooms and nice pools...
- Coronado Springs is a big, sprawling resort that often hosts conventions - so, pros, can be quieter with less kids because of business travelers. Cons, maybe you have a bunch of kids and you don't WANT a more adult hotel. It can take a long time to walk around and get anywhere here. The grounds/garden areas are beautiful. Caribbean is a more kid-friendly place, but still, pretty large and sprawling. More kids, potentially louder. Both are moderate-level resorts, so similar amenities. You'll just need to pick which theme looks more for you. For connecting rooms, you would need to make that request when you book, and then call the resort directly about a week before you check in and just remind them. Then upon check-in, tell them that you requested it. It is still not guaranteed, but that is your best bet. It wouldn't cost more. Dining places, you should just the menus at http://www.allearsnet.com and pick what appeals to your family. Every single restaurant will have people who love it and people who don't.
