Help with Disney World Discounts!?

My 5 year old son and I are planning to go to Disney World in December. We already have lodging reservations. Are there any ways to get discounted admission tickets or parking passes without staying inside Disney? Any other advice is greatly appreciated!

1. You can get small discounts as a AAA member. There are also modest discounts at some authorized dealers such as undercovertourist.com. Beware of any huge discounts on theme park tickets as that usually indicates some sort of scam. As far as parking goes, you either have to be on property or be annual passholders as far as I know. 3. You are not going to find large discounts. AAA does offer a small discount. Your best bet is to buy your tickets on line at the Disney web site. I have been hearing more and more about tickets being bought and not being able to use them at the Disney gate

5. Everyone's right - discounts are not too huge on Disney tickets. There is a newsletter you can subscribe to called www.mousesavers.com Sign up for the newsletter, and they will give you reputable places to buy tickets at a discount. If you're staying on Disney property and not going to any other locations within Orlando - don't rent a car - save the money! Disney has an excellent transportation system that is free to guests. Most of the area hotels offer free shuttle service to the Disney parks. During December - make sure you take in the Osborne Festival of Lights at Hollywood Studios - it's the best most joyful holiday show there! Have fun!
6. AAA gets you a 5% discount on tickets and a Diamond parking pass if you purchase at least 2 adult Magic Your Way tickets. The Diamond Parking pass let you park in the special AAA lot near handicapped parking. It does not give you free or discounted parking...just a closer spot.
