Is there anywhere I can get discount tickets for Disney World?
My husband & I are driving with our 7 children and inlaws from Philadelphia to Disney World for a week. We are staying with my parents and his Sister in the timeshare condos. Since there are 9 of us we have to go as cheap as possible. There is going to be atleast 15 people with us. Is there anywhere that I can go to get discounted hopper passes?

- Try asking your insurance agent(s), a lot of those companies offer ticket discounts. If you are a member of AAA they also offer some discounts.
- On your way down there (I am assuming I-95) there will dozens of places selling discount or free tickets. The caught is you have to go to one of the "condo tours". They're not to bad or long (normally 60-90 min).
- Not really. Disney is not big on discounts! AAA is the best discount if you have it. Otherwise, there are some timeshare presentations where you might be able to get a day or two, but in my opinion the time you waste is not worth it. There are a few small discounts available online, but the only legitimate dealer I know if is http://www.mapleleaftickets.com Just in case you didn't know, park hoppers cannot be re-used or re-sold. So don't fall for trying to buy someone else's unused days!
- This question gets asked about once a day.. doesn't anyone look at the closed questions?? The answer is not really, AAA is the ONLY place that sells discount tickets, and their tickets are only a few cents cheaper. That person who answered about the "discout/free" tickets is crazy... the time share thing is more like 3 hours and it is a high pressure sale. The local news does a story about once a year about them being a scam.. the tickets they give are used or not valid. So to summerize, there are only two places to get legit Disney tickets.. straight from Disney and AAA. http://www.orlandofloridasucks.com
- Jacki & Lili's advice is correct, the word "discount: is not in the Disney vocabulary. AAA discount is only 3 dollars. Expect to pay the standard rate, instead try using some of the coupons for dining & lodging found in all the tourist magazines all over the Orlando area.
- Here is a quick website to do a search for disney tix and other attractions while you are there. They have a special for 4 Day Magic Your Way + Hopper + 2 Days free. They will hold the Tix for you at the Disney Ticket window in will call. Make sure that you have ID with you when you pick up the tickets... http://www.res99.com/nexres/activities/destinations.cgi?src=10009590&src_aid=YTB201664 Good Luck!
- Well actually yes! here is some info I gathered while I lived/worked there. I do believe if you have a group of 10 or more that qualifies for a group discount, I am not exactly sure about the number of people it is but I am positive 15 people qualifies for a group discount! Well anyways there also are places you can watch a seminar that usually lasts anywhere from 90-120 minutes and you can get free tickets but I do know that those free tickets are only good for 1 day and you can barley get through 1 park in one day and there are 4 parks and 2 water parks, and downtown Disney. If you want my opinion I worked for Disney and I truly believe its over priced and over rated. You could all go to Universal and buy season tickets for almost the same price you will pay to go to Disney one time! I bought season tickets to Universal for only $100.00 when I lived there and I always have more fun there. Better rides, less of a wait, better food, and less expensive everything!!! And way better nightlife for the adults! They have Margaritaville, Hard Rock, Emrils, and more!! I choose Universal, way better time, trust me!
