Do Disney World moderate resorts have DVD players in the rooms?
Specifically Port Orleans French Quarter. We are going there Thursday. Also to those who have been there, if I may ask, did you like this hotel? Thanks.

- I've stayed there twice and I really like POFQ. The grounds are very pretty and I love being able to take the boat to Downtown Disney. Off hand I do not know if they have DVD players, but I really do not think they do.
- no port orleans french quarter does not have a DVD player in the rooms. the only moderately priced disney resort that DOES have a DVD player/VCR is the cabins at fort wilderness. in my opinion you have made a great choice cuz i think port orleans french quarter is the BEST moderately priced disney world resort.
- nope there are not but you can bring your own and that is such a good idea mom good job! wifive!
- My husband and I just stayed at Port Orleans French Quarter last week for the first time. It is absolutely beautiful! It's quieter than the Riverside part of Port Orleans, and is a lot smaller. However smaller in this case is not a bad thing. It's very relaxing. Take the walk over to Riverside on the trail, it's very pretty at night. The Sassagoula dining area is casual, but very good. You must try the beignets, they are delicious! If you haven't seen Princess & the Frog yet, you must see it. It will get you excited about staying at POFQ. The movie takes place in New Orleans, and Princess Tiana makes homemade beignets. There is not a DVD player in the room. The standard rooms are very, very small. We didn't spend much time in our room, so it wasn't a problem. You do have a tv, and internet connection. I suggest bringing a laptop or portable DVD player like we did, to watch movies at night. We brought our favorite Disney movies to watch, and it got us excited for the parks the next day. I highly recommend this resort, you're sure to love it! Rent a surrey bike one afternoon, or take the ferry over to Downtown Disney. Have a wonderful trip!
