What are the best Walt Disney World resorts for golfers?
Public Comments
- I think the best resort for golfers is just off Disney property, at the Villas of Grand Cypress.
- I'd say any of the Magic Kingdom Resorts at Walt Disney World- Disney's Contemporary Resort, Disney's Grand Floridian Resort, Disney's Polynesian Resort, and Disney's Wilderness Lodge. Walt Disney World has five Championship golf courses, four of which are located in the area of these Resorts- Magnolia, Palm, Osprey Ridge, and Eagle Pines. The Lake Buena Vista golf course is located near Downtown Disney. Magnolia, Palm, and Lake Buena Vista are rated 4 out of 5 stars by Golf Digest. Osprey Ridge and Eagle Pines are rated 4 1/2 out of 5. Each of the Magic Kingdom Resorts is beautiful and specially themes. Disney's Contemporary, Grand Floridian, and Polynesian Resorts are Monorail Resorts, which is very convenient. The Contemporary Resort has a futuristic theme. It's one of Disney's original Resorts, along with the Polynesian. The Resort has great dining options and views of the Magic Kingdom Park. Disney's Grand Floridian Resort is the most expensive of all the Resorts and has a Victorian theme. There are excellent dining options here, a spa, and rooms have views of the lagoon and Magic Kingdom. Disney's Polynesian Resort is my favorite out of all Disney's Resorts! This is where I always stay. The Resort grounds are so beautiful and tropical-looking. There's palms and exotic plants everywhere, streams running through and around the Resort, lizards and bunnies around the grounds, a beautiful white-sand beach, two pools, one with a volcano in it, and so much more, including a couple great restaurants and a Polynesian luau dinner show! The Resort is so gorgeous! Rooms have views of the Seven Seas Lagoon and the Magic Kingdom. It's within close distance to the golf courses on property, and if you stay at a Disney Resort, they'll provide transportation. Hope this helps!
